TOFA AGM 17 February 2012

The TOFA AGM for 2012 will be held at the Alliance Française on the 17th February. Please arrive by 4.45pm ready for a 5.15pm start.

This AGM will be a particularly important one for TOFA. Due to discussion that was had at our previous AGM regarding TOFA’s non-affiliation vs affiliation with the MLTAWA; in 2012 we will be taking it to a vote.

You will find a document below available on download, which briefly sets out the history for those who don’t know how we arrived in this situation. It also sets out the foreseeable consequences of both affiliation and non-affiliation. Please take the time to read the information and come to the AGM ready to cast your vote.

Why We Learn French Forum 2011 and 2012

The 2011 Why We Learn French Forum took place on Friday 20th May 2011.

Once again, there was a great line-up of speakers who gave our students an insight into the benefits of learning French as an additional skill in a global environment. These speakers encouraged students to seriously consider continuing with their French studies.

Thanks to Elisabeth Gerber who organised this event for us this year. Thanks also to Christ Church Grammar School for hosting the event again this year.

The 2012 Why We Learn French Forum will be held on Friday 18 May 2012. The venue and coordinator of this event are yet to be confirmed. If anyone has a suitable venue for, presenter, or would like to help coordinate this event, please contact tania at president@tofawa.asn.au.

18 May 2012 - We’ll see you there!
